FREE Mindfulness Taster sessions

Do you sometimes feel overwhelmed as a parent? Would you like to learn how mindfulness can help you effectively support your children and yourself with a greater awareness and compassion?

Want to learn if Mindfulness can make a difference to you as a parent or carer?

Mindfulness is simply paying attention to what is happening in the here and now (your thoughts, emotions and sensations) in a non-judgemental way. With practice, mindfulness can be become a very powerful tool to help cope with life’s stresses and strains.

There are 3 free hour long sessions available to parents and carers to drop into:

Monday 13 January 9.30 – 10.30am

Tuesday 14 January 9.30 – 10.30am

Wednesday 15 January 9.30 – 10.30am

Whilst the introductory / theory part of each session will be repeated in each, you are welcome to attend just one or more sessions if you would like. These tasters will comprise of guided meditation and access to audios that can be used after the session.

There is no need to book, simply turn up at the Blue House (Breakfast club room) and sign in there from 9.15am for a prompt start at 9.30am.

Following these taster sessions, you may decide to join a more in-depth Mindfulness based stress reduction (MBSR), the most recognised and established mindfulness course, taught all over the world, and scientifically proven to help people cope better with stress, depression and anxiety.
