Sports Week 2018

In the week beginning Monday 25th June, we will be staging our annual Sports Week. This will involve all the children participating in a range of PE with various coaches, on different occasions from Monday through to Friday. Please see attached timetable for more information.  Sports Week 2018

On Friday 29th June, Sports Day will take place at the playing field at Goldsmiths University

  • KS1 morning – leaving school at 09.30am , 10.00am at the field
  • KS2 afternoon – leaving school at 1.30pm , 1.45pm at the field

If you are available to help walk the children to the playing field, would you please speak to your child’s class teacher by Monday 25th June.

All children will be entering the university via the entrance in Laurie Grove Road SE14. Any Parents/Carers wishing to watch the Sports Day but who are unable to accompany the children should also use this entrance. All children must return to school with their class after Sports Day and cannot be taken directly home from Goldsmiths.

Please make sure your child has the necessary ‘kit’ for the entire PE week, including any medication / asthma pumps etc., they may require. It is also advisable to have a drink, a hat, and some sun cream for Sports Day.

As with all school events, parents are able to photograph or film their own child, but please ensure that any photos or filming containing other students are not to be uploaded to the internet or social media.  Photos can only be for personal use as some children cannot be photographed for safeguarding reasons

Should you have any further questions about Sports Week or Sports Day please do not hesitate to contact myself or your child’s class teacher.
