Reception Visiting the Albany Theatre ‘One Snowy Night’

December 18, 2013 @ 11:30 am – 2:45 pm

Dear Reception Parents/Carers

As a special Christmas treat, we will be going to the Albany Theatre in Deptford to see One Snowy Night on Wednesday 18th December 2013.

The show lasts about 45 minutes and will be a magical experience for the children, described as, ‘A cosy Christmas tale based on the books by Nick Butterworth full of songs to sing along to, furry puppets friends to meet and blankets to be tucked up in.’

Tickets cost £6.50 (discounted from £9.50) per child or adult (ie if you come with your child it will be a total of £13.00). We will walk to and from the theatre (approximately 20 minute walk) and children will need to bring a packed lunch.

As usual we need your help. We need as many adults as possible to come with us to help walk with the children. We hope you’ll enjoy the show too and, of course, it makes it even more special for the children if their parents are there. We will leave school at 11.30 and return by 2.45.

If you can help, you must have undergone a ‘list 99 check’, which you can complete at the school Office, by filling in a simple form and producing two pieces of ID (one photographic ID and one proof of address).

Please note that the school Newsletter mistakenly listed our trip as 10th December. Unfortunately, we were unable to get tickets for that date, and had to change to the 18th December.

We need to confirm numbers as soon as possible. If you would like a ticket please email your child’s name and class to or speak to your class teacher by Tuesday 26th November. All tickets must be paid for byWednesday 4th December.

Thank you for your support.
