Mestival – Myatt’s Summer Fair – Saturday 30th June

It’s one week until Mestival – Myatt’s Summer Music Festival  and excitement is building.

There are still lots of ways you can help in the lead-up to the festival and on the day but, most importantly, come along and support us because all the money we raise will be used to fund new playground equipment.

The less we need to spend to stage the fair, the more we can put towards the playground, so any help you can give by donating the following, would be hugely appreciated:

Nearly-new books and toys for the Bric-a-brac stall

Pimms and Prosecco for the bar

Cash donations to buy meat for the barbecue

Cakes and biscuits for the cafe

Loan of gazebos and umbrellas to protect us from the sun or rain!

Donations can be dropped off at the school office from Thursday 28 June (cakes on Friday 29th or on the day)

Community Spirit

If you would like to help run a stall or get a group of friends together to oversee one on the day, keep an eye out for signup lists in the playground or look on Classlist or email:

Boho Chic or Far Out Fashion

Start thinking about what to wear – there will be prizes for the best-dressed child and adult.   Channel your inner flower child by coming to the fair in your best festival gear.

 Groovy Tunes

We had a great response to last week’s appeal for performers and have three more parents signed up to sing, in addition to our Myatt musos. If you are keen to perform or if you know someone else who is, contact:

See you there on Saturday June 30th, 12pm-3pm.
